Grilled Clams Casino

INGREDIENTS

- 1 slip of bacon 
- 1 tbsp shallots minced 
- 12 littleneck clams, scrubbed clean
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (Progresso Italian Style)
- 1 tbsp lemon zest and juice
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 
- 2 tbsp parsley minced  

DIRECTIONS

1.    Heat Steam Grill over medium heat, cook bacon until golden brown and crisp for about 5~6 minutes. Take the bacon out and cut into small pieces. 

2.    In a small bowl, mix bacon, shallots, breadcrumbs, olive oil, parsley, lemon zest and juice well. 

3.    Place clams on heated Grill. Cover with lid and steam-grill until clams open, about 5 minutes. 

4.    Remove the clams from the grill and place on the plate.
